Rockin Birthday card

I just finished making birthday cards for the neighbors' girls. They have birthdays six days apart. I'm late with one of them. I thought I would share the cards with you. The first one was inspired by a card with the same sentiment published in the March 2008 PaperCrafts Magazine. I made it my own with different colors and stickers. I printed "hope your birthday" on beige cardstock with "Da Bomb" font. (I have so many fonts - I forgot where I got this one.) I also used Making Memories handwriting stickers, a guitar and record from Karen Foster The Fifties, and a Design Lines sticker from Mrs. Grossman's. I mounted the beige piece on a 5x7 card made from pink cardstock. I think I did pretty good using my "stash" for this.

The second card was designed using a sketch from I used more stuff from my stash. The paper came from a lot I bought at Ebay and I have no idea what brand it is. The cute ribbon I got at Target in the dollar bin. I guess you could say this card was designed mostly with dollar items because the stamp either came from Michael's dollar bin or the Dollar Tree. (Can you tell I have too much craft stuff? I can't remember where I got it all.)

  1. I like your Rockin Birthday Card! Very nice with the record and the guitar on it! :)

  2. Your card ROCKS!
