10 Yummy Pumpkin recipes
It seems like every time I log into pinterest there is another Pumpkin recipe pinned. I've collecte a few more in my Yummies board since my last round up of pumpkin recipes that are now on my "must do" list so I thought I'd share another ten with you. Some of these are a little different and feature dishes that aren't desserts.

Spider web pumpkin centerpiece
I was inspired by this spider web pumpkin at BHG and decided to try making my own. You may have just seen it in my spooky spider tablescape. I told you I'd give you a few more details, so here it is. There's not much to it- I just didn't want to previous post to get too long and overloaded.
I made mine the opposite of theirs. I used a black craft pumpkin and a white marker- a Galaxy scrapbook marker. You could use any white paint pen or white marker.
Just draw on the lines for the web and you've got a spider web pumpkin. I didn't permanently adhere the spiders and crow- they are attached with glue dots for easier storage and so I can use them again in another way if I want. I got these spiders from Spirit Halloween. ( I already had the larger spider.) I love these colorful little fellows!
Go make yourself a spider web pumpkin. It's all about your own interpretation. Mine is balanced on a bowl turned upside down instead of a cake pedestal.

A spooky spider tablescape
Hello and welcome to my table! I hope you aren't afraid of spiders. Quite a few made their way onto the table, but maybe the crows will pick them off before they get to you.
I started my Halloween tablescape with a black and white polka dot runner and then covered it with some creepy cloth from the Dollar Store. I took a black craft pumpkin, some spiders, and crows and created a centerpiece. It's perched on top of a crystal bowl that I turned upside down for a stand. I'll share a little more about it in the next post.
I used white placemats, black plates, and glasses all from the Dollar Tree. I used the white greek key salad plate on top of the black ones The napkins were thrifted and I made the napkin rings a couple of years ago.
I also made some spider hurricane vases just by taking my plain clear vases from the Dollar Tree, some black cardstock, and my spider punch. I attached the spiders with glue dots so I can easily remove them later. Quick and easy! I love how these turned out.
A few cobwebs
Here's a different version of the place setting. I picked up these cute spider appetizer plates but I used the white plates because I wanted to stick to the black and white theme. Which one do you like best?
I placed a flock of crows in the chandelier. I think they add to the spookiness.
oh and this guy.... I think he enjoyed dinner. Looks like he's taking away leftovers.
Thanks for stopping by.

Skull and crow centerpiece for Halloween vignette
I have been in love with this centerpiece by Alderberry Hill ever since I first saw it. I set about to create my own version of it, but since Halloween is fastly approaching, I had to do it the quick and easy way.
a charger, a trifle bowl, and a tall candlestick. The candlestick wasn't quite tall enough so I placed a block of foam in the bowl and set the candlestick on top. The skull isn't heavy so I don't have to worry about it tipping over. All of the inside was filled and covered with Spanish moss.
Next I started filling the bowl and placing pumpkins and other items on the charger around the base of the bowl. I used some painted rattan balls I had on hand from previous years fall vignettes and table decor. I wanted to paint everything black, white and silver, but once I started placing things, I liked them with the color. To pull in some black, I cut up an arrangement of black roses I painted last year for a vignette and placed them in with the other items. Hubby had purchased this huge spider a few weeks ago and it was just sitting on the bar, so I hung it from the side of the bowl.
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be sharing here:
I didn't have time to search the thrift stores for items to make this centerpiece and I didn't have time to paint anything, so I shopped my house for items on hand to complete this. Here's what I started with:

Hubby had purchased this huge spider a few weeks ago and it was just sitting on the bar, so I hung it from the side of the bowl.
A crow perched on the skull and held with a glue dot completed it all. (Nothing here is permanently attached and I can disassemble it all for storage and to use in other ways.)
This became the centerpiece for my Halloween vignette featuring the houndstooth duct tape pumpkin and boo googly eye frame. A few other pieces were placed on the other side. To balance everything out, I made a second houndstooth pumpkin and perched it on my diy cupcake stand (I love repurposing).

Are you afraid of a little spider?
I really wanted to do a spider theme decoration for Halloween this year, along with birds, but I'm not sure if I've pulled off either yet. So far it's all about skeletons. Nonetheless, here are ten fabulous spider projects to incorporate into your Halloween decor.

Halloween mantel
This year's mantel is full of skulls and skeletons. I was going for a "pottery barn" type look with the moss, the filled vases, the clear glass, and pedestals. I stacked candle holders (turned upside down) and a glass plate for the tiered holder you see below. I also made some potion bottles with an old grape juice bottle and an empty A1 steak sauce bottle. I downloaded and printed the labels from Crafty in Crosby and Centsational Girl.
On the other side, there's a 3 foot skeleton and another filled vase and skull on a pedestal. All of my vases and candle holders came from the Dollar Tree. The spider candle holders are from a yard sale.
A few closer looks:
Oh, and these guys are just hanging out on the hearth.
